Previews
I always have lots of ideas regarding my next project. I started a Christmas quilt and discovered I was mixing Christmas with a Winter theme - so this one is on hold until I can go one way or the other . . . The center block is shown on the right - a simple Christmas Wreath. I have some great ribbon for ornaments and a few ideas on how I can use 2 or 3 shades of yellow and orange organdy to show a lighted candle. We will have to wait and see how this one develops.

I am also focused on a very simple stylized set of wreaths and Seasonal Trees of Life based on Shaker art. I am also thinking about how I could incorporate Stenciling for the border. The wreaths will be simple and have bead flowers on the inside of the wreath.

Every once in a while I find an outstanding ribbon that I must have - sometimes I only but a 1/4 yard. I keep thinking how fun it would be to use these great ribbons to make beautiful Faberge style Easter eggs to set up on stands made of ultra suede (they could be very fancy).

So watch this space and as the blocks develop we will show them and you can let me know what you think!
